Important Notes on eScience Courses in 2004
- There will be important changes to the Graduate Diploma and
Masters rules in 2004.
- COMP6443 ``Internetworked Virtual Environments'' will not run in
2004. It will no longer be a compulsory course for the Masters
program. Instead, COMP6422 ``HCI and Usability Engineering'' will be a
compulsory course.
- COMP6421 ``Human Computer Interface'' will not run in 2004. The
material in this course will partly be covered in COMP6422
``Usability Engineering''.
- COMP6424 "Special Topics II" WILL RUN in semester 2, 2004
but there is a strict prerequisite that students are very
competent with unix and Java! Without these skills you will really
struggle. The course is aliased to COMP4700 "Advanced Run Time
Systems". Lecturer is Steve.Blackburn@anu.edu.au.
